If Walt Disney defined childlike wonder, Nickelodeon defined what it meant to be a kid. Punky, fun-loving, wide-eyed and can-do – in the 90s as today, Nickelodeon is the place where kids write sketch comedy shows, climb mountains and yes – get covered in iconic green slime.

“Double Dare” holds a special place in the heart of all humans (and maybe some robots) who were kids in the ‘90s. We all dreamed of having a shot at the physical challenges and of sliding “Down The Hatch.” And at Clusterfest 2018, those childhood dreams were realized in a major way, with a down-to-the-detail re-imagining of the original obstacle course in micro – allowing fan after fan the ultimate shot at ‘90s kid glory. The weekend culminated with a livestreamed contest between Comedy Central stars and the cast of the Real World Road Rules Challenge – hosted by none other than Marc Summers.

The first day of the year is full of possibility, anything can happen. And for fans at the 2018 NHL Winter Classic, thanks to rEvolution and Nickelodeon, that “anything” included the opportunity to strap themselves (down jacket and all) into one-of-a-kind 360-degree-turning “go kart” vehicles, made to look like giant air hockey paddles, and zoom around a replica ice rink, smashing into an oversized puck – and their opponent – in an incredible game of larger-than-life air hockey unlike anything seen before.
